ESP LTD EXP-200 Metallica

  
Here we have a very nice example of a 97' ESP LTD EXP 200. Serial number 43098 is stamped into the 22nd fret of the rosewood fretboard.

This is the highly sought after two dot EXP 200 that were made in Japan and were only made in'97 and 98'. It's nicknamed the two dot because of the two dots on the 12th fret.

Other LTD EXP models have a block inlay that reads "EXP 200". I believe there were only around 300 of two dot guitars ever produced. I believe all other LTD EXP's were made in Korea.

The Japan made EXP's came with all Gotoh hardware which is also made in Japan. These versions are identical to the higher end ESP EXP aside from the logo.

I feel these are just better quality guitars compared to the Korean made guitars in my opinion. The guitar is in excellent condition with a few minor chips. I included some pictures of the chips. The guitar has all new pots and wiring kit.
